Just been watching the legend that is Kendo Nagasaki and amazing wrestler that he was he was he was also quite stiff and must have been quite hard to wrestle. Although he seemed very fair and always gave his opponent plenty of the bout he seemed to be quite difficult to work with ... if that makes sense?

Peter himself has admitted that he tended to go a bit wild on opponents early on, which was why the Bartelli tag team was created so that the Count could keep his student under control. Only a small contingent from around London such as Mike Marino and Judo Al Hayes favoured working light anyway.
Good to hear and hopefully that's just temporary. I know as I've got older everything takes three times longer to heal than it used to. Good luck, and look after yourself!
yes pretty good, the only thing that causes a little bit of grief from time to time is the nerve damage repairing itself. it's like a cross between numbness and pins and needles. but if that's all I have to put up with I am happy
Thanks for the tip Powerlock! Hope you're well on the way to recovery now.
Cheers Hack/Powerlock. No worries at all, as I'm not sure I put my point across as eloquently as I might have. Must admit I haven't been posting so much lately as most of the emphasis on here seems to be about wrestlers before my time and hence I can't really comment. However I'm reading everything just as much as before and enjoying learning all about those who went before me (and also wishing there was some footage to watch!). This is a great site and a great tribute to the good ole days!
Frank, I think he was very good at making his work look very stiff and real, if he was difficult to work with I am sure words would have been exchanged and it would have got back to the higher ups at Joint.
Shame to see you've had no replies to a fair comment Frank. I don't recall any comments about him being stiff Frank but it seems he was blooming good and could look after himself so if he wanted to make life difficult for anyone he could.
