Mr Roberts must have flown to Sparkbrook
I've just noticed that on Ron's Sparkbrook advert Blackburn Roberts is billed as Blackbird.

The bill from Sheffield for Relwyskow held quite a few names that I saw at Newcastle.
The photo of Dennis Winn, I recognised before I read who it was.
I saw him once at Newcastle and he asked if I could show him the way to Newcastle Central station.
He said that he was shortly going to America.
Not a tall man, about 5 foot 5 or 6 I would say.
What struck me when I saw him in his thick overcoat was that he looked as wide as he was tall.
Not a brilliant wrestler, probably just learning the trade, with a brilliant physique.
Some people may not know that he placed second in the Mr Universe short man class at one time.
