Sorry Hack I didn't read it fully at first,I'll enquire about the Manx lad with a mate over in the I O M who was connected with Billy Howes when he was training guys after moving there, Phil Barry is still in the taxi game. The other Tony Barry looks very familiar but I'm sure I know him under another name I'll try and recall.
I knew Phil Barry back in 1970 and he was in touch a few years back, five or six. There was a Tony Barry on the Isle of Man who was his "wrestling brother." If you can get any updated info on Manx Tony that would be great.
That's not who I am referring to.
I'm referring to Tony Barry from Grant Foderingham's gym, and Eddie has supplied a photo.
Here's a reminder of Phil
It was Phil Barry from the I O M ,he became Manx version of an MP in the house of keys, and he's now a taxi driver I'll enquire about Tony.
No Mad Mac, that was Dave Barrie. Tony Barry was a Manchester lad, I think he trained at Foderingham's gym. There was also another, different Tony Barry on the Isle of Man around the same time. I don't know what happened to him either
Thanks folks, interesting bills and comments from Ron and Graham. Does anyone know what happened to Tony Barry?
An evening up town!!
Some good honest promoting here from Jack Cassidy whilst he was in exile from Joint Promotions. The man never did it to make himself Rich. He loved the game and had a good heart.
