Not a single Southerner on the bill.

This is absolutely incredible and we can only wonder and wonder what was behind it all.

I would guess that it was DM in name only and was sub-contracted for the night to Morrell. I wonder whether the officials were the RAH regulars?

Most RAH bills at the time, and always, had a majority of Southerners, so this really does stick out like a sore thumb.

Definitely something in it, but what?

Well, this is a bill we've looked at loads of times because of the Breaks v Riss match.

But having now studied it long and hard other than some no doubt oblique observation of Anglo Italian I can only agree with williamr.

This must be the most northerly bill at the Royal Albert Hall ever. Why did Dale Martin not advertise it as a "Northern Lights Spectacular?"

After a night in that dressing room Felix and Alex would be begging for a lift in the car to go up north and try a bit of Lancashire Hot Pot.

From here that looks a cracking tv line up SaxonWolf. I wonder if it would have been as enticing at the time? I reckon so. Thomson and Logan would have looked a close match, Robinson and Marino were class, Clements and Kaye had good followings, though i didn't take to Kaye. As for McMichael and Dallas. Oh well, we can't have everything.
