The Ghoul and Dominic. A few years later would be doing the rounds for the opposition. And support wrestler Mick would be raking it in. Dominic and The Ghoul for me any time.
Thanks Al. We havve him as Harding with a g in his very brief A-Z entry. Don't know which is right.
It does sound like an actual name though (who would chose it?) unlike Steve Veidor. When I asked him whether it should be Veidor or Viedor (in a futile attempt to prove Anglo Italian wrong) his reply was who knows? or cares? It's not even my name.
I think that's Zimba tagging with Bond. Still an unusual pairing.
Yes, Portsmouth posters claimed brownie points on our countdown of the 10 Greatest Posters a few years ago. Lovingly laid out with imposing local insignia. The image above is quite bleached, but the Portsmoth posters were in magnificent luminius greens and oranges, and the paper used was extra thick. Must have been a great venue. They often had five bouts, I seem to recall.
I'm coming to appreciate that The Artful Dodgers were just about THE favoured opponents for the Pallos.
@adrianpollard.shangri-la You might be right about Logan and Marino MM, I've never given it a thought. It's surprising though. Both big names in parallel for so long, clean and dirty, similar weights. You'd think it a perfect match.
Was Szakacs ever a good prospect?
I remember the Mark Anthony visit. I only read about him, can't remember if he was on tv. It's surprising to me to see him on this poster so lowly and without any celebration. Did Dale Martin know the meaning of the word promoter?
Three years after the take over, the Paul Lincoln brand continues, but more surprising is that they are still continuing the individualised programmes for some venues. I only ever went to shows with generic programmes.

Here's Syd ...
Hi Hack,This was the only time I saw Sid Cheyenne Hardin billed.
This is what they said about him in the programme
Nice large poster from 1963:

Great shares, thanks.
