I thought the Norwich bill looked O.K. I recall timekeeping for Dixon when he promoted Kellett versus Borneo at the Pembroke Halls in Walkden and it was an entertaining bout. On another occasion I witnessed Eric Taylor versus Bobby Graham and really enjoyed it. No dirty stuff but the sort of bout you just don't see any more with a really clever sequence of chain wrestling. Incidentally, many years ago I had a lady friend who used to send me love letters and would write on the back SWALK so, when I replied, I would also write on the back but I wrote NORWICH.
Yearsley with Kwango is a bit one-sided, poor old Kwango. The Dixon bill at Norwich looks pretty underwhelming to me. If it had been a cold November evening I would be tempted to stay at home and watch the tele. Unlike Pallo with Street. In 1971 that would have got the taste buds going, though I would have expected a Pallo win. Taffy Jones thereon Ron's Hull bill, and Bob Robbie? I wonder if that was Bob Robinson/Billy Joyce?
19th November 1964
Death of Ronto the Bull
Wrestling overseas today, Pete Roberts defeated Klaus Kauroff in Basel, Switzerland, on this day in 1978.
On our TV screens, on this day in 1960:-
Concejo Lucon v Tony Charles
Chich Purvey v Jack Pallo
The Great Togo v Vic Stewart
19 November 1960
Billy Joyce beat Jose Olivera at Belle Vue in a European Heavyweight Championship match.
The Shy Shooter of the North
Not sure if I have ever seen Streiger work for Paul Lincoln.
And not the only time I have found wrestling in a works canteen.
You old romancer Graham.
As for the Norwich bill Kellett v Wldman would be attractive, but I thought the rest looked like a stale Joint show from years earlier.

Far away one of the greats for me Black Angus had probably had enough of Max Crabtree and Brian Dixon and found his own work. (Speculation.)
Pallo v Street would have been good at a great stadium in 1971.
Coventry and Hull twenty years apart shows a very different Roster.
I bet Max Kemp is the guy I used to promote as Max Raeger and I wouldn't be surprised if under The Black Mask's bonnet was Butcher Goodman.
