Powerlock 7h
Good tag bout at St James, definite heels in the Dennisons I think most of the crowd would have rooted for Pallo and Colbeck .
You might well be right Powerlock. Who am I to argue? (No need to comment Anglo Italian).
The only thing that makes me question your judgement is that in 1966 Pallo was just the swaggering big 'ead we couldn't stand. A Londoner at that. Might even have been worse than a couple of northern villains.
The mellow Pallo we liked only came along a few years later when he had to be the responsible dad looking after JJ.

January 1st. Happy New Year.
1966. The Lincoln-Dales merger.
Mick McManus in a light-heavyweight bout? Must have seen his turkey when he had the programme printed....
A TV show that probably wouldn't have excited me at the time but would now. I enjoy your TV anniversaries Saxondale.
I wonder if Frank Downes was Terry Downs? I understand Terry's name was Jim.
And another of those handicap tournaments from Ron.
