In 1947 Promoter James Angus was fined £50 at Goole Magistrates Court for selling tickets for a show in the town on 25th April without declaring the entertainment tax.
Wasn't there talk at some time of genuine visitors not being allowed to wrestle each other as this would do a British wrestler out of a job? Was this ever the case or a myth?
On a personal preference note regarding Main Masks poster. I've never had a great interest in photos. Personally I don't like the dominance of photos on a poster and matches like Saint v Breaks relegated to the sidelines. Just a personal preference.
Well, Rick Hunter wasn't American, he was Canadian (in real life) but I see what you mean. I thought Rick Hunter played a good guy over here, Jim Harris was obviously a villain, so the match should have worked ok.
