Twenty years ago today, on 27th October, 2020, was the death of Ernie Riley, British light heavyweight champion and son of Billy.

From PWInsider.com:
1978 - Butcher Brannigan & Ox Baker defeat Larry O'Day & Mario Milano to win the NWA Austra-Asian Tag Team Title in Sydney, Australia (Butcher Brannigan being Crusher Brannigan).
1984 - Chris Adams, Gino Hernandez and Jake Roberts defeat Kerry Von Erich, Mike Von Erich and Bobby Fulton for the Texas (WCCW) version of the NWA World Six-Man Tag Team Title in Dallas, Texas.
Nature Boy could have been Street. But would Max Crabtree have paid expenses for a Londoner to come to Preston? Personally I doubt it.
Could Jake Larson have been Dave Larsen? But again that would have cost money.
I'd say the Nature Boy was indeed Adrian Street.
By that time, Spencer Churchill had made his name; wouldn't have been billed like that.
Wrestling overseas today, Jack Dale (of Dale Martin fame) defeated Gilbert Leduc, for the European Middleweight Title, in Paris, France, on this day in 1952.
On our TV screens, on this day in 1965: -
Johnny Czeslaw v Pietro Capello
Bobby Barnes v Julien Morice
Mancunian based Jamaican Del Willis was a professional boxer of some 23 matches between 1953 and 1956 before he turned to wrestling. Born in Jamaica on 27th October, 1932 he came to Britain shortly after the Second World War and joined Ardwick Lads Boxing Club.
Boxing under the name Del Willis he took the name Tiger Delmonte when he turned to professional wrestling. A colourful character he made his way to the ring carrying a tiger's head as his lucky charm. Tiger learned the wrestling trade on Matt Moran’s fairground booth, at Grant Foderingham's gym and at the Failsworth Amateur Wrestling Club under the guidance of Billy Robinson and alongside Johnny Saint.
Great wrestler descriptions made these posters very effective in attracting fans
Wonder who "The Golden Boy" and "Nature Boy" were?
Adrian Street can't have been Nature Boy in 1958, can he?
