Now that I would have paid my 5/6 for. Unlike MM I knew my social status and stayed clear of the expensive seats. Riss v Wood would have been very appealing. But the chance of seeing George Kidd would have been attractive, especially against a good wrestler like Bob Steele, though we all know where he would end up. Bobo Matu was a draw for me against this unknown kid of the time Steve Young. Achmed I didn't see. But if he was Strong well why wouldn't I be there. 5/6 well spent.
Wrestling overseas today, Les Thornton defeated Paul Berger, in Berlin, Germany, on this day in 1970.
