Wrestling overseas, on this day in history, the one and only Billy Robinson took the win against Buddy Austin in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii, on this day in 1969.
On our TV screens, on this day in 1966: -
Jackie 'Mr. TV' Pallo (Highbury) (KO) v Peter Szakacs (Budapest)
Syed Saif Shah (Lahore, Pakistan) (W) v Johnny Alan (Halifax)
Johnny Kwango (West Africa) v 'Tug' Holton (Waterloo)
Come back all I said, Try Steve Logan.
I think that The Outlaw's opponent looks like Tony Mancelli.
Same time , same night 85 years ago.

They look the same to me,but I am no expert!!
This is the photo the The Outlaw was handing out, shame I didn't get it signed!!
Who is the opponent?
Autographs do vary greatly.
My Eddie Capellis are completely different from yours; but the likeness is there enough to make them all valid.
Your "The Outlaws" are virtually identical, but he was only signing over 60 months.
We are so knowing now; but I remember in the sixties how exciting Judo Al Hayes name was: he had a JUDO: It seemed so special then.
From the Palais
Going back to The Outlaw I got his Autograph June 4th at Croydon (along with Al Hayes signing as the White Angel) the other time I got his Autograph at Wimbledon Palais (v Danny Lynch) in April 1968.
They look the same?
That would be the original Outlaw at the end of his run. I don't think JPs would have dared show a fake after his previous appearances at the venue.
Who do you think might be The Outlaw,Main Mask at the Fairfield Halls in 1968?
Golden certainly, but contrary to the publicity Mike Demitre was not a Golden Greek.
Born not in Athens but in Montreal, Canada, on 31st August 1907, and we remember him on the anniversary of his death in 1989.
