Also a belated comeback in 2008 for WAW...Met and wrestled some great chaps Best bouts - Ivan Trevors (lots of times and always great, he should have gone further than his one TV appearance which never really showcased his abilities), King Ben and the Irish lad Tony Stewart (Billy Reid also) - what a fantastic lightweight he was !
Sapper James (howard_m) is also a valued and frequent contributor to this forum. The only reason for his omission from the A-Z is that he was active outside the Heritage Years of 1930-88,
Yes I wrestled as an amateur for 3 years, before turning semi professional in 1969 and had 12 marvellous years as a semi professional wrestler. Travelling all over the country meeting a lot of fantastic character’s from super heavyweights to midgets!!! 💪
