HI – I am hoping that you can help? I am writing a funeral for a lady that I know used to wrestle at the Pembroke Halls under the name Poison Ivy – her real name was Irene Bellis and she was born in 1943. I do not know when she was active as a wrestler, but wondered if you had any information on her that you could send? There is a little bit of urgency on this as the funeral is on Thursday.
Thanks Ron. I sent Dorothy some general information about ladies wrestling in the late 60s which she can use. She has replied and said it will be useful.
