I've just looked at my own copy of this handbill and you're right Mad Mac (as you know, of course) that DeMontfort is spelt correctly

Years ago Anglo Italian wrote that our interest in wrestling as children created interests that improved our knowledge. When I was about 11 I was visiting my brother and saw an advert for wrestling at the DeMontfort Hall. I'd never heard of Simon DeMontfort but because of this wrestling link went home and got out the encyclopaedia (remember them?). Anyway, some time later who should crop up in our history lesson and I was away, how did this kid from Leyland know so much about Simon DeMontfort. Sadly, a moment of glory I couldn't replicate.
