This SUNDAY-We are in The Twilight Weeks of ITV Wrestling!-
Venue is The SPA ROYAL HALL in BRIDLINGTON-and The Event Programme is
Kinda Curious?#!- NO Pre-Specified Bouts-More Like A 'Tournament'?
It can only be Presumed That The 6 Pairings were to be Decided on The Night?
Still Plenty of Good Wrestlers on This Bill!
MAIN MASK

Don't go twisting words, Main Mask.
That is not "my" Dale Martins. My Dale Martins had quite different standards and made wrestling great.
That desperate Hanley bill features the Crabtree family with ongoing misplaced nepotism. It's a clear sign of 1980's standards.
Gee, we've spent decades on here discussing why wrestling was pulled from TV in 1988. The ITV producers weren't stupid and saw this chronic dumbing down.
Wrestling was taken off tv because someone, heaven knows how, assumed Absolute Power. And we know what that does....
Sometimes it's BOTH-ANGLO!
Look at This Programme for HANLEY in DECEMBER 1988!-
Previous WRYTON Territory for Decades-Now The Promotion is under
Your DALE Martin Promotions Banner?#!
If you Take-Out MARTY JONES-KING BEN and BAZ RILEY....
What's Left?#!
The RED Lettering doesn't Hide the Poor Production?
No Details under Some Wrestler's Names!
Where is ELMER THE GREAT from? + Many of The Others!
'Newcomer to the Ring' is VERY Limp!!
This Hi-Lites the Mess JOINTS were in from the Late 1980's-
It's Almost Apathetic!-and an INSULT to The Fans-Not being Bothered to Bother!!
No Wonder They didn't Dare to Print the Seat Prices!
So DALES H.Q. is Now in ROUNDHAY in LEEDS?#!

Let’s not confuse the quality of the wrestling with that atrocious, sloppy programme. The Relwyskow bill has plenty of top quality wrestlers who surely put on an exciting show.
In Stark Contrast BRIAN DIXON's Bills at the Same Time were Tons Better-
Exciting for One-Full of Action for Two!-
ROCCO-FINLAY QUINN-TONY ST CLAIR-NAGASAKI etc
No Brainer where I Spent MY Money!!
MM
It's clearly not Relwyskow's work. The man had style, the family had style.
Somebody had bought the rights to it all.
But somebody left their horrible grubby pawprints wherever they trod.
Only one person was capable of these atrocities.
I take it that the programme compilation had nothing to do with Relwyskow.
THAT's WHY I Posted it ANGLO!!-A Turn-Off!!

I think when business owners retire, often well after the minimum state pension age, they see retirement day on the horizon and take their foot off the pedal. There is no future to maintain standards for. Just live off what you have created and cash in. Here the promoter would have know this was his final tv bill.
Apart from the scattergun approach, and albeit seriously skilled wrestlers there, the pool of proper wrestlers had dwindled so all these bills from the late eighties looked very samey.
"Favourite" commentator. Like there were any others! Condescendingly talking down to the punters, ironically from a position of ignorance. Would people have paid money for a naff programme like that?
Many Thanx HACK!-I'm a Bit Surprised that Even in 1988-
RELWYSKOW would almost 'Abdicate' any Semblance of Serious Promoting!!
MM
Another sign of how dumbed down the business had become.
Something could have been made of the 4 man tournament, which was a continuation from a Bedworth tournament, and the other three matches weren't bad though not earth shattering.
All lost in this nonsensical list. How could anyone get interested in this splatter gun approach.
This is what happened, thanks to itvwrestling.co.uk
