Back in the early '60's a young Canadian Wrestler with a Flair for getting People's
Backs Up arrived on the U.K. Scene working for PAUL LINCOLN!
LEE 'FLASH' EDWARDS had arguably MORE Swagger than PALLO and positively
exuded Arrogance with his Cocky,Contrived Ring Entrance! A Cunning Rule-Bender-
he had already whipped up Audience dislike and disapproval before he had even shed
his Glittering Satin and Sequin Jacket!-Make no mistake though this Guy could really
Wrestle and could easily have been a Prototype for ADRIAN STREET'S Future fully
formed Ring Persona!-Did Anyone see 'FLASH' fight in the Halls?
MAIN MASK
A first class "heel" who really knew how to work up a crowd, even before wrestling commenced.
This doesn't look like a Paul Lincoln show, I don't know too much about it.
Don't remember him, I wonder if he ventured this far north

While we are here, let's give a nod to the man who invented the whole genre, the one and only Gorgeous George. A true innovator.
Looks like his uncle was a Wrestler (Billy Edwards) who started wrestling at 15 and had a 35 year career.
I saw Flash wrestle on an Assirati promotion in 1957. Bert was the main event but Flash made quite an impression. He kept us all waiting while he put the finishing touches to his hair, at least that's what MC Bobby Palmer said he was doing, so Flash had generated a lot of heat before he had even left the dressing room. Slow, arrogant stroll to the ring, sneer at the crowd, disdain for being touched by the ref, usual rule bending. All pretty predictable now but new and exiting for Walthamstow in the late 50's. A class act and a good worker.
Here are a few articles from the old 1-stop/British Wrestling days (link below), including at the end, a mention from his daughter
