Lou Thesz, when asked about his thoughts on Jack Sherry;
"...I never met him, but he was reputed to be a good wrestler. he was not in Ed's class and was beaten by Ed pretty seriously. In fact, when Ed was old and fat, Al Karasik faced a take over in Hawaii by Jack Sherry and he called Ed to come in. Jack backed off and left Hawaii. Ed never liked him , but then he did like Toots Mondt, so who knows?
Lou..."
"Ed" that he mentions is, of course, Ed "Strangler" Lewis.
Old jack was a mean motor scooter, i've only heard of him losing one legitimate match, and that was a loss to john pesek, who was one of the all time greats. this is a few minutes of a paul boesch vs jack sherry match that was held in houston tx.
I also wonder too whether some of the UK's best wrestlers of the 1930s would have defeated Jack Sherry. Atholl Oakeley was a shrewd Promoter so he may have been protecting his prime wrestler with Jack Sherry.

Not sure if this link will work, Jack Sherry vs Kola Kwariani, from Manchester in 1937.

i just thought the footage of sherry was kind of neat, not much footage of him, that i've seen anyway.

I don't think so. Sherry was very much one of Oakeley and his associates wrestlers, and the Robinsons were not.
I couldn't find any evidence of them wrestling Sherry, but results are incomplete.
