Hi Ron.
A continuation of your good work. Many wrestling historians will love this.
You said that I must have seen George Pencheff. Well I haven't .
The bill that you posted Newcastle 10th October 1953 showed Alf Rawlings v George.
That didn't happen.
That night Alf ko-ed Dai Sullivan.
I began to think that George had never been to Newcastle, then I found 19th September 1953,
Ernie Baldwin Ko-ed George. But I didn't go and I can't remember why.
Sorry.
According to the A-Z Edwards was with the Independents in the 1950's, so he would not have come to Newcastle with strict Norman Morrell in charge.
That was a near miss Bernard , and although a busy career , I don't see Lee Flash Edwards at Newcastle in the days when you went.
Madras has been a very strange sort of discovery. You all know I love a bill , but the challenge was , how do you bring this into British Wrestling. Well Globe Trotting is one answer , and fortunatley for me , each set I write and show to you , I can find a few who came here. Even more important , is if I can find anyone who was based , here , basically one of our own.
Lord Edwards was a big shock. he really bugged me , he had to one of ours.
I knew from doing Stampede that Gillette had gone over with Kendo and adopted Lord Sloan of Kensington Gore. Lionel Edwards , what a Snip. And when you dig into the guy , Lee Flash Edwards is a lot more important than we thought in terms of a Flash Gimmick.
It's 4 years since Main Mask spotted him and his Flash Personna.
The old thread makes good viewing. Great spot Adrian.

Another piece of our wrestling jig saw of history is in place. The pieces Ron finds aren't just under the table, they're under the floorboards. Looking forward to 1962 Ron.
