Those in receipt of the newsletter will have seen that George Passalaris has been in touch. George was part owner of a bier keller in Soho Street, London in the early 1960s. He can't remember it's name and wondered if anyone could help.

THANK YOU ALL.
That’s it, my God he found the Zither as well,
used to hate the sound.
Again thank you now I carry TRY and finish my life story.
Best regards

Splendid work Ron. Our time detective strikes again. Or is it just a man who likes his beer?
I have it. It was 10 Soho Street and called The Lowenbrau Beer Keller.
Had some Cabaret on and was owned by Milo.
Miss Roller from Vienna played the Zither there.
Manuela Gardener was resident singer.
Ground Level was a cocktail bar and upper floor a Greek Taverna.
I wish. Big fan of German beer.
Sorry Hack , I couldnt get in with my school uniform and shorts
Come on guys. Someone must have been out there drinking.
We have had one suggestion, a bier garten that was in Soho Street. Unfortunately George says this was not the place. We did find this reference to the place in 1967, just after George had returned to Greece.
