Does anyone remember the Sketch Show? One regular character would find himself out of the loop with his suggestions, e.g. a social dinner group are talking music, names such as Mozart, Chopin, Bach, etc. are enthusiastically mentioned. One guy, trying to join in the discussion, chimes in with : “Elton John has written some good songs”. The rest of the gathering stare at him in an uncomfortable silence, The guy looks at the group, gets to his feet, saying “ I’ll get my coat”
