
Off the top of my head I don't recall mask v mask matches in the 1930's and I am wondering if Bartelli with Wryton was actually the pioneer of them. He certainly did plenty to build himself up. I would not take much notice of the 7 year undefeated streak , I think at this stage after the war the Count had done less than 2 years with a mask after being Jess Condor before the war.
