Maybe a bit early but back in 1955/6 I remember seeing an ad in The Star evening paper Pye v Kellett at Lime Grove. I wonder whether that was Jack making a rare (possibly final) London visit or Dominic? Do you by any chance have the programme?

Cool MM, I might add them to what I have for a Lime Grove gallery in the near future.

Also, I'll be doing a Wimbledon Palais gallery this week, if I can add any you have have shared on the forums that would be most appreciated.

Thanks for sharing these MM. I know Dave C felt that Lime Grove was one of the major wrestling venues in London and one of the few places to catch the best wrestlers from the North.

Being a Yorkshireman I would have thought Norman would have been looking to save more money on travelling expenses.

Later on in the sixties Morrell would use some Londoners in London but not one of the great bills you have posted includes a southerner. Fascinating insight into the inner workings of JPs.
