Once again I need help from the comunity. In 1957 there was a O' Neil at the Heumarkt tournament in vienna. I always tought it was Terry O' Neil, but I had in mind it was a little early. Now I found a picture of a Patric O' Neil who fits more in the time frame. But I never heard the name before and I couldnt find him in the A-Z list. Thank all as always.

This is a mistake by WD.
Wrestle Data site, has a Terry O’Neil appearing in Vienna, Austria in June and July 1957.
A closer look reveals……not a lot! But W.D. does say ‘Terry’.
Not sure of relevance but old workers called Terry paddy in the 70s could be generic but wasn't meant to insult,he was active in the timeframe, incidentally hard as nails lovely bloke.
No information at all, but the name. Croydon 5th June, 1957.
Terry O'Neil in later years:
Yes he does , but I can't find a bill with Patric in the UK. Are these photo's linked to Vienna.
Gernot , I will give you an opinion and please don't assume I am right , just because I am an enthusiast. This is a hard game to read.
I don't think or know of this Patrick O'Neil. I am leaning towards a very young Terry O'Neil because I can find him as early as April 1958 and he looks to be in Wryton Company.
The picture you display is a classic bodybuilding pose and I am guessing that Terry might have been Patrick for the purpose of the Vienna Tournament. This name change thing was often the case.
Most times I find the earliest bill of a man , he usually was about maybe a year or even two before that , cutting his teeth.
For me , the clincher is that Terry seems to have started out as one of several Mr Universes and that's why I think he could be the man in the picture.
Terry spent much time between Joint Promotions and the opposition and had a long career. I am short of a decent picture of him , in particular his early days.
Not unusual for a man , but the guy in the picture has hairy arms as does the A-Z picture of Terry as Dr Blood which maybe was the early 1960's and a good body on display there.
There is one other fly in the ointment. It seems there had been an earlier Terry O'Neil , but I don't think he made much of a mark. Anyone got a picture of Terry O'Neil. ?
