That's an easy call for me.Of all the bouts I saw live, a match between Count Bartelli and Steve Veidor for Bartelli's Commonwealth heavyweight title around 1972/73 at Liverpool Stadium. Bartelli holding on to his title 2-1.A fantastic display of technical wrestling. It still stands out in my mind to this day.

A contest between Geoff Portz and Albert Wall at the Lime Street Baths around 1964. It featured two excellent wrestlers at their brilliant best and ended in a well deserved draw. It was the one bout I witnessed that literally had the whole audience enthralled.
Anything with Steve Grey in it and where he wasn't distracted by having to face a villain. So rule out Breaks.
Viedor, Faulkner, Saint and others were all good. But the smiles and handshakes distracted and detracted from the art. For pure focused wrestling, it has to be Grey.
Grey v Myers early seventies was super. I remember the silence. Then Myers got flashy.
I would love to have seen one of those McManus clean bouts ....
For me the clean ones were not the ones I usually remember. Two to stand out are Saint v Woolley and Saint v Faulkner.
Jon Cortez vs Keith Haward
Clay Thompson v Spencer Churchill way back in the early 1960s at Ilford Baths.
Anything with Ken Joyce in it
15 round draw between Johnny Stead and George Kidd at Newcastle ending 1-1. Absolutely brilliant wrestling where neither man could get the winner .
Billy Joyce versus Billy Robinson and Eric Taylor versus Ernie Riley : both bouts were championsship bouts at Belle Vue (Manchester) very early 1960. Eddie Rose

There were two that stand out at Wembley Town Hall
1: rematch with Steve Viedor and Seamus Donlvey
2: Was a Mick McManus match which was a master class. He won clean and fair and got a standing ovation.
any Vic Faulkner match. Preferably v Johnny Saint.
Eddie Cappelli versus Alan Sargent stands out from half a century ago!
