Yes thanks Martin! I had only just read a little about Jim and seen his picture for the first time, many years ago. Sitting at my desk in a suburb of Sydney, Australia and with little to do, I trolled the internet until suddenly I was confronted with a picture of Jim and the question ‘can you name this wrestler’. Apparently I had to sign up for an unspecified number of years to one ‘WRESTLING HERITAGE’, if I wanted to answer the question. Shivering with excitement I quickly did so (I needn’t have hurried, most members of this august private club were asleep back in the U.K.). I was one, smacked of the gob when some hours later, I was heralded as the first (and probably newest) member to answer correctly. Happy times indeed and although the halcyon days may be past, this is still the BEST wrestling site on the planet.

He was a great character and this is an entertaining and informative tribute. Thanks Martin.
Seemed to be a great wrestler that I missed. I know he did a lot at the Devonshire Club. Getting wrestling into the nightclubs was trail blazing.
Great write up of Jim......Thanks
Great Stuff Martin, many thanks
Really enjoyed reading that, thank you Martin.
