Yes, Boy Dominic was set in Victorian times, something like that, and Adam Adamant was a Victorian gentleman detective, who had been frozen (somehow) and thawed out in 1960's London, or something like that. Ah....the good old days!
I briefly remember Boy Dominic, i think it was a children's period drama. Adam Adamant i do remember the repeats. It starred Gerald Harper who in the words of the late great Hilda Baker "was all suave and suffocated."
Same here Saxonwolf. I think it was Joan Crawford's last ever film. The ape man mask was pretty good for the day but it must have been too expensive for the studio to create any further prosthetics so Joe Cornelius wore a troglodyte head with no body costume, just his own bare torso and legs.
He was one of the most well known wrestlers in British wrestling until his retirement. Wrestling magazines of the time publicised his appearance in the film.
Definitely the good old days Saxonwolf.

I remember Boy Dominic, it was on when I got home from school, around 4.30, and Adam Adamant!
