Matches from the Royal Albert Hall were not televised that often compared with other venues
The Royal Albert Hall, was the venue when Golden Ace John Naylor, punished Keith Rip Rawlinson in a televised match for the BBC. Interesting to see all the backstage banter between the wrestlers in the dressing room, before entering the ring. Great times.
I think that bill is a good example of the start of the decline of wrestling's popularity - same faces, same matches and although I didn't see it probably more or less the same results
I was there for that one. Kidd lost by cut head in round two......boo....hiss.....
I went most recently in 2018. Needed binoculars to view the ring from high up seat
I never came within a whisker of going to the Royal Albert Hall though I'm sure it would have been a great experience.
Magnificent bills over decades, so why did you chose this one Terry?
