Somewhere in the back of my mind I seem to have a vague recollection of a wrestler by this name. Can’t recall ever hearing him being spoken about and beginning to wonder if it was all a dream. Anyone got any info please?
Tom Tyrone was legitimally around 17 stone and seems to have been built up for becoming eventually British Heavyweight Champion. A real wrestlers wrestler
Watched a couple of his matches on YouTube yesterday and I agree he was a fine wrestler. Can’t believe he was ever 20st as Ron’s poster states. Still it’s only wrestling, why let facts get in the way of good advertising. Thanks again for all the info, you lovely people.
Just viewed another fine match with Tyrone versus Joynson
Tom Tyrone was a great heavyweight in his time. Recall him giving Big Pat Roach a tough time in the ring.
Tyrone makes short work of Bromley in a match on You Tube
Ouch!
That's right! Got my Kents twisted.
I hope Frank Leonard is joking about the A-Z. We've got more than 2,000 wrestlers in there.
Correct Mac, The Emperor was Big Bill Bromley.
Tom Tyrone wrestled in Japan as "Paul Harris", would that be his real name?, anyone know?
He wrestled masked as The Emperor.

Would think they have added a bit to the height as well to make Haystacks credible.

Looks like they gave him a good push.
He was a fine young heavyweight who often had matches against the likes of Ray Steele, Pat Roach and Terry Rudge. I always enjoy his matches.
Cheers bjh99, thanks for your help. Tug Holton's son in law? I learn something new on here every day.
Tug Holton's son-in-law, IIRC
Sorry, just fell in with what you said"loads of streets""
Wrong A-Z.
The A-Z that I meant was the alphabetical list of wrestlers on the Heritage site.
Hi leonard.frank. Go into Wrestling heritage and click Wrestlers.
Tom Tyrone is the last entry in the "T" section.
Just looked in the A-Z and can’t see him anywhere, just loads of roads and streets Cheers guys I’ll have a butchers at YouTube 😊
He was another exceptionally good wrestler from the 1980s and has several matches on You Tube
He is in the A-Z. Look him up.
