Tony was a generous, sociable man who loved to talk.Boy, did he love to talk.
His interest in the history of wrestling was phenomenal and he was a
founder of the Leeds Reunion.
Like all of us he had his flaws. We fell out about ten years ago. We made our peace at the Kent Reunion four or five years ago, thanks to Tony as much as myself. I'm glad we did. His death should serve as a message to all of us in the wrestling community, which is still full of rivalries, that we are all too old to fall out.
Rest in Peace Tony.
Sadly, this news has been confirmed. We have received information that Tony died approximately 2-3 weeks ago, alone at home.
