Farnworth had it all,Johnny Halsop made his debut early seventies the guy could really wrestle,Wryton had big things for him, then a name change to Casonova even Dales used him when relatively new which was rare, his disappearance was odd,any memories of him?
Was the name and image changed due to the TV series if so a bit late to cash in.incidently to justify the attention grabbing header Frank Finland was a wrestling fan his auntie was.a ringside reg at Wryton stadium,Hylda Baker loved the game saw her at BelleVue Wryton and Blackpool. But one famous northerner was an obsessive fan but more of him later.
I remember Casanova, found him entertaining. I was surprised he wasn't around longer.

The obsessive northerner was surely Percy Shaw?
Casanova had a fancy white ruff, intriguiguing name, dashing moustache - but he was just a quiet middleweight in the ring. Got the push too early, I think. With his exotic profile, billing him from Manchester didn't quite fit.
You are quite right, he was used extensively by DM, also at the RAH, but just disappeared overnight as did Jack Armstrong at about the same time.
