Can remember Liverpool Stadium had weekly shows for many years.Usually on a Friday.Think it may have gone fortnightly late 70's. Belle Vue had weeky shows until mid/late 70's too.Was Hanley a weekly show?
In Ireland, in the 1930s, William Willis ran weekly events for a period at Queen's Theatre in Dublin. In the 1960s, weekly wrestling took place for a period at the Rotunda in Dublin.Weekly wrestling was never as popular here as it was in Britain and elsewhere but there are some occurrences, although typically for a short period of time.
H james.I should have put year round weekly shows.I think Belle Vue may have had a Winter break. We also had Southport but it was only in the Summer season. Liverpool was year round shows I think. Pretty certain Hanley was year round too.
Almost too many to think of. For a start Morecambe's Winter Gardens., Tower Blackpool (?) In London Lime Grove Baths, Wimbledon Palais, Shoreditch Town Hall, West Ham Baths....
Yes James for the four years I lived in Blackpool the winter shows continued through the winter.

Most venues with weekly shows had a break in July and August when the wrestlers retired to the seaside
Belle Vue was twice a week for about 15 years when Dick and Jessie Rogers were promoting
St James Hall held a weekly show as Bernard and will no doubt confirm
