I'm not talking about one off's but established Promoters.I believe there were quite a few.Orig Williams worked on his own shows normally as El Bandito but in the Welsh shows often used his own name.He also wrestled for other Promoters.Saw him at Liverpool Stadium for All Star( then Wrestling Enterprises) .There were plenty of other Promoters who still wrestled. Can anyone name some more?

A new one to me. I've just read that Reg Trood and Linde Caulder were promoting together in 1960. A report of their first show at Sheerness Working Mens Club says they have already put on shows in Catford, Wimbledon and Fulham.
All I know about Arthur is that he was the worst ever MC on tv. And there were some bad ones.
So who was Jack Green as in Del Res & Green. Just a business partnes ?
I don't think we've had mention of George DeRelwyskow, Ted Beresford or Norman Morrell who wrestled following their promotional debut.
You could reverse this and name a promoter who had his own promotion and did not wrestle on it. Just ran a business.
In the present day the Black Country promotion Pro Wrestling Live is promoted by Mad Dog Max who is also a wrestler. One of the last still active wrestlers from the ITV era Scrubbeer Daly appears on his shows
Hack
When and where did Hayes and Hunter promote? Togther ? and under what banner ? And am I right about Black Butcher J ? I know he had a dry cleaning bbuisness for a short time. Thanks
I do think Jack Dale is an interesting case. Many of those on Hack's long list were already wrestlers who broke away to dabble on their own; a bit.
Jack Dale was "the" British Middleweight champion and seized the chance post-war to buddy up to everyone and successfully create the biggest promotion in the country. And also in the face of competitors such as Sir Atholl from whom he had even wrested the crown jewel of venues, the RAH, just eight years after the end of the war. Jack Dale is therefore more known as a promoter than a wrestler, unlike many others.
Jack Dale must have been very charming and convincing, and indeed a reliable businessman true to his word. Bob Kirkwood shared some interesting personal recollections of his, all very positive.
We imagine, as all evidence points to the fact, that Jack Dale made Mick McManus. But I also imagine we will now never know the true nature of their relationship.
To conform to the topic title, Jack Dale must have been wrestling on his own fledgling shows as well as wrestling for others during the late forties.
Assirati, Oakeley and Paul Lincoln of course but it was a long held tradition in the game. Much like the actor-managers of theatrical touring companies. What's the earliest example? Did Jack Dale work on his early shows?
Jackie Pallo, and didn't Andy Robin promote?
Jack Taylor yes. Fred Woolley, John Allan, Les Kellet, Don Robinson, Bobby Barron,Dominic Pye, George Kidd, Eddie Capelli, Joe D'Orazio, Max and Shirley Crabtree, Dale Storm and Bruce Welsh, Jim Lewis, Tony Cassio, Al Hollamby, Ezra Francis, Ray Hunter, Al Hayes, Shaun O'Shea, Count Bartelli, Gordon Corbett, Terry Goodrum........
assisrati- black butcher jack taylor (?)
Of Course Jack Cassidy and also Danny Flynn , and Cyril Knowles. I think most of them did the more you look at it..
Ken Joyce?
Paul Lincoln, promoted, wrestled and sold the tickets. What better example?
