I wanted this to be our big Tarzan discovery but just can't see it.

I see the Parr Hall bill MM. That's a good find.

But I'd be surprised if that's the end of the story. The mysterious Wild Tarzan story has got more mysterious.

Yes there has to be some doubt now. Only one of the above has Tom Rigby as Wild Tarzan. Could it simply be a mistake. His colourful entertainer life is documented and no mention of Wild Tarzan which was a long running gimmick.

I slaved for a long time on this Jack Ridyard that is on many of my own bills. I never found such a name coming and going from England to Canada , not once.

But there are a few John Ridyards in Bolton and Wigan , a couple of Coal Miners. They are prime suspects. I do believe he traveled with Lew Faulkner to shows and their matches were common enough.
