Hi, Back in the 70s there used to be record shop in Croydon, Surrey called L & H Cloake or H & R Cloake. My late father said that one of the owners used to be a wrestler, perhaps not a successful but a wrestler nonetheless. I've scoured the internet but can't find any info on him.
For some reason the name Len Cloake is sticking in my mind.
Of course my father may have been wrong.
Does the name Cloake and wrestling mean anything to anyone?
Here's information on the record shop, but can't see any mention of a wrestling connection. It's an interesting read though.

Ah, that could well be the answer. Maybe my father got confused. He did watch wrestling in the 50s and 60s. A friend of mine worked in the record shop in the 70s so maybe she'll be able to help. Thanks for the info
Hi specialk99.
The only name i can think of was Pat Kloke who wrestled both for joints and then Paul Lincoln in the 50s & early 60s. Hope this helps.
Regards, Ian Pringle.
