For me I would choose Adrian Street. His ring character was years ahead of its time. Also, with his business interests and his very interesting life he is a very clever and fascinating man.Which wrestler did others find fascinating?

Les Kellett
I would choose Bob Sherry (Jimmy Niblett) from Bolton, His great interest in amateur wrestling and his “keeping fit” mentality impressed me the most.
In the tribute to him by wrestling Heritage, you have a lot of other attributes including:
- When he nearly turned professional as a footballer.
- His Fell running experiences until nearly eighty.
- Landing with the first wave on the Normandy beaches during the second world war.
Cheers
McManus. All this talk about his love of antiques and playing charity cricket just didn't sound right.
Masambula. ! When he came on the scene in the early 50's I had not seen anything like it in a ring.
Unusual antics and became a showman , before he became a wrestler.
Ray Steele, a great heavyweight wrestler, but always elusive.
I saw Steve Logan loads. In the ring and arriving at halls. But I never ever saw him smile or out of grim-faced character.
In our years on here I have learnt he was a practical joker loved by all the other wrestlers.
For me, an enigma.
Always been fascinated with Hans Streiger. I have heard that the people in his local village were scared of him , a hard man and ex boxer who got DQ's at boxing . Anyone with faster hands and he held and mauled so not to be stopped any other way.
But in the end got some recognition from Joint who in the early years he seemed to slit in and out of.
Have we ever heard who his friends were. Cowboy Jack I am pretty sure.
But like Kendo before the book , there must be so much more.
One of the original great foils for Two Rivers matches. Did he really "Sell"
I never saw him sell.
We remember Jackie Pallo and his TV appearances but he also appeared in panto I believe, considering the amount of travelling he regularly did it must have seemed like a holiday for him.
Agree with both Adrian and Kendo, also Pat Roach, appearing in blockbuster films, fighting with Indiana Jones and James Bond!
Kendo, but of course we now have his (Peter's) autobiography. At the time I knew two of his regular tag partners but all I gathered from them was that he owned some land and rode horses.
