As stated above, it's all related to familiarity, I was attracted by northerners coming south and by visiting internationals.
I couldn't include McManus because his bouts ended up very similar, I chose my five based on the expectation of seeing a different performance each time.
Vic Faulkner
Johnny Saint
Tibor
Marty Jones
Tony St Clair
Kendo Nagasaki, Dynamite Kid, Adrian Street, Mark Rocco and Sapper James.........well I would have to show up if my name was on the bill!
It was a bit of an ever changing thing for me. It boils down to almost who never let you down by having a bad bout.
In the end I saw most of my heroes in below par bouts.
I could go for Kendo , Wall , Street , Streiger , Bill Robinson.
It just so happens that with some guys , you never see them in a bad bout.
I never saw a bad bout with , Bill Howes , Pat Roach , Abe Ginsberg , Gordienko and Les Thornton.
But I maybe just never got to see them enough (Live)
Amazing that I did not see Howes that much live except for many fights with Kendo and all good.
1) Billy Robinson
2) Bert Royal
3) George Kidd
4) Bob Sherry
5) Tibor Szakacs
I chose the five above because of their wrestling skills.
Alan Garfield
Albert Wall
Ricky Starr
Kendo Nagasaki
Mal Kirk
