The 1962 documentary Pop goes the Easel featuring big wrestling fan artist Peter Blake is presently being repeated on BBC4, The wrestling clip is cut out of the repeat but is now available in full on You Tube

Further to the Earl McCready post I discovered from the ITV Wrestling site that in July 1938 he had a match versus Tim Estejile(Estelle)broadcast on the National Channel of the BBC.At (http://BBC.At)the time one of just two national radio stations and broadcasting to vast numbers of listerners.Far more signicant than TV which in 1938 only broadcast to a few hundred upmarket and very wealthy househols in Greater London.
