I remember Bobby Barnes so well. He was a fantastic wrestler with some really unique holds and moves. A great career with Adrian Street in tag team action. Bobby Barnes wrestled all the greats in his time. One of the best.

As mentioned, hard to believe that it’s been five years since Rollerball Mark Rocco died. A talented wrestler that you always tuned in for, because he was never boring in the ring. And of course one of the best for sure.

Brian’s antics in the ring, especially as a referee caused a distraction from the wrestlers themselves.

Always clean cut, and very good. I think he tagged early on in his career, with Judo Alf Marquette as the Judoka’s. Had some terrific matches versus Pat Roach, and Skull Murphy. Great wrestler.

All I can say is Wow! Would have loved to watch the wrestling from the Kings Hall, Belle Vue back in the day. Tremendous.

Terry Rudge was great. In bouts versus Dalibar Singh, or Bomber Pat Roach he had the right amount of skill and aggression to challenge heavier opponents.

Lino Ventura was in an excellent film with the late great Richard Burton, called The Medusa Touch.

Nice artwork really captures both wrestlers really well. Clearly they both had something special to fill the Royal Albert Hall in their time.

Les Kellett was as tough as old boots. He could do the comedy routine in the ring, but a real tough nut that nobody took liberties with according to the great Mick McMannus.

Agreed Eddie. Mike Flash Jordan was a fantastic wrestler. He had some great bouts with Johnny Saint, and Danny Boy Collins.
