as most of you are aware am not that impressed with Peter Nagasaki, even in his glory days did not look and the fake mystism was an insult to Sensi Abi why was always allowed to win, he was not that good, many of his oppenents made him look good. we never really saw him on TV against somebody who could beat the crap out of him. so why let him keep winning

what can I say but how many wrestlers would have the dedication and discipline to go through this sort of training. certainly looks interesting, wonder if any bouts were scripted.

Good morning happy campers. 2018 saw the release of "Walk Like A Panther". what happened to it, did it get shown in many cinemas... I gather the film only earned £270k at the box office. not really enough to encourage anybody else to make a film about wrestling. if any of you was to make a film about wrestling what would be different to make the general public go and see it. was this film meant to be a tax right off the film is available on Youtube and Amazon Prime if anybody is interested

in the early 60s we used to see Alan Miquet at Wembley Town Hall a lot. is he still around. I believe he had an accident which stopped him wrestling. Somebody mention a few years ago he was spotted putting one of his wrestling rings up with his girl friend. the main reason I am asking about heroes from the past is many citizens today do not seem to enjoy their retirement. considering the enjoyment/entertainment wrestlers gave us just hope they are now OK... stories like Steve Logan's life in Morecambe are not good. was or is there anything in place to help ex-elderly wrestlers.

crud wrestling tv shows seem to be everywhere on channel 5 channels and itv channels and Freesport. when ITV decided to re-image world of sport it was an insult what was missing in these shows compared to the 60s and early 70s. to me they are extracting the urine. they are as bad and sometimes worse then the big daddy circus

was looking for something exciting to watch on ALL 4 and stumbled across this. when you consider the complete mess ITV made on trying to bring back British Wrestling.... maybe this at that bad. could you imagine our Brian putting a show like this in Royal Albert Hall or Max baby in Belle Vue with his brother as ref. this part of a series which shows wrestling from different parts of world https://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-wrestlers/on-demand/70534-006 series starts with this one so don't be put off https://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-wrestlers/on-demand/70534-001

I happened to watching end of "FRANKENSTEIN AND THE MONSTER FROM HELL" and I spotted a face which looked familiar. the character was called Hans played by Chris Cunningham who looked a younger version of dear old Jack. money was not good when Jack used to wrestle as used to go barefooted because could not afford wrestling boots any thoughts

in the good old day before High Definition Colour TV we used to watch wrestling in black & white in low res, not helped by recording being films. then came colour which could be a bit hairy. the television sets would be set up with to much colour and the cathode guns out on alignment, let alone some of studio cameras could drift, especially the valve ones. all this often produced an image which was soft and hide what what was really happening how many of the school would have be able to adapt to modern TV with its extra definition and you could see what was really happening, like blows not landing etc. could they have survived

shock! horror, girdle my jock strap. it appears uncle Vince could be selling WWE and getting ready to spend time with the grand childen rumour has that Brian Dixon and Max Crabtree having been breaking lock down and having secret meetings in a little cabin just off A646 near Holme Chapel to see if there is enough money in pension funds. Sanjay Baggatalle has tried to find out where the meetings to see if he can get anything out of any deals. going to be interesting what happens next. https://www.givemesport.com/1565717-wwe-news-vince-mcmahon-reportedly-negotiating-deal-to-sell-wwe-to-espn-and-fox DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WORLD OF SPORT WRESTLING REVIVAL

when I meet Otani all those years ago he lived in Willesden near roundwood park. he recognised a couple of us as likely lads and showed us a couple of sly moves. when he caught us using them he let his sons billie and robin on to use. sad to say Otani used to watch with a nice gentle smile. his 3 sons towered over him as he was quite small but was the boss. Japanese do have a sense of humour and he was a true sensi

when wrestling was first on TV it was blurry 405 b&w tv, if it was not live would be a telerecording. along came colour the high definition with whizzing graphics and flashy camera work. being a sad old chap with bladder and flatulence problems I must admit I prefer the old style shows and presentation. the commentators now seem to suffer from some kind of retention in the nether regions. does anybody believe that the modern razzmatazz would have worked in the old days at place like Royal Albert Hall, Bell Vue and the town halls. in those far off days of Izal and Bronco the wrestlers had strong personalities.

WAS KENDO NAGASAKI OVER RATED as many are going on about mike marino AKA michael harrison being carried and over rated the same criticism can be levelled at kendo nagasaki at the same age, mike never but on weight like thornley or was as slow in the ring. thornely got away with a lot using fake mysticism and stunts. harrison just wrestled until he dropped

mick mcmanus had a reputation for being a very naughty boy in the ring and a very light wrestler this would have meant his opponent would live to fight the following night elsewhere was very ever in case of an opponent ever getting genuinely injured in a bout with mr mcmanus was down to him
