Thanks Ron. When his son got in touch he did mention how much you had helped him the last time he contacted Heritage. This really is a long shot, but since our original A-Z entry we have heard from Australia of a Wiganite who went cold water swimming with Joe breaking the ice before jumping in.

Some concerning news of Mohammed Yakub received this morning. I am writing this email to update you on my grandfather. He recently had an operation 3 weeks ago of his left femur, due to the fracture he had sustained at his home. The surgery was a success. However, on his road to recovery he is undergoing some issues with inflection and with his age, the healing is slow, overall is not well as we speak. We are praying that he recovers and is back on his feet and tell stories just like the old times.  Lots of best wishes from fiji.
