The Segunda Caida Blogspot has posted a Klondyke Bill match from 1974.He is billed from Canada not Yorkshire but is more impressive in this match than some of the other big men who followed him
I don't think the BBC2 documentary about the Klondyke brothers did them any good at all. I'd watched them in the halls and they were big and brutish, or so we were led to believe, but the documentary portrayed them as a pair of ordinary blokes wrestling in small halls for a few pounds a night.

Bill Watts would have fired the pair of them for it, but really it's just an honest portrayal of two blokes. See also the TVTimes article from 1981 where Anne Rocco goes on about what a wonderful house-husband her man Mark is - complete with picture of them both working at the cooker together.
I’ve noticed bills from the 70s,where Klondike Bill was from Alaska. I’ve noticed that you Peter have spelled his name Klondyke, could that be the American Klondyke from the 60s/70s???
A great find Peter, thanks very much. Klondyke Bill was always good value for money and more than capable of doing the usual 25 minutes we saw from lighter wrestlers.
Love the B&W.
Is that the original Batman? The commentator says he's 30, and Bill 27. Both single.

The French commentator tells us he is from Canada to add to the confusion
It's the British K.Bill Les.not the American one

Ref got what he deserved.Legit Klondyke Bill would win easily
Klondyke did to the ref what most people would have loved Haystacks to have done to BC the ref
