Redruth is an interesting one. In 1958 FSCG is refereeing or appearing on most bills, so likely he was involved in promoting there. Bills have a touch of the Wryton to them and Conroy referees some of the shows. 1959 they have an independent look, Kidd, Capelli, Big Boy Scott et al. 1961 the bills are all over the place, I have a programme but it makes no note of promoter. Early 1962 looks like Dale Martin. Not their top tier bills. By October 1962 it's Paul Lincoln promoting.

That we know of. In the last couple of years we've found evidence of a couple of earlier TV broadcasts that had been lost to time.

I understand the first time they teamed up was 22 November 1953 in Finsbury Park, London.

That newly found Seymour Hall bill is intriguing. I don't have any bouts for Assirati after June. He had done occasional DM shows in 1960. Somewhere, I have an article on Johnny Morgan from a New Zealand Sports magazine. He was billed as a New Zealander from time to time, so I think the magazine wanted to get to the bottom of that. I sold the magazine but scanned in the article, I will have a look for it.

This is the only 1960 result I have (from Ray's files): December 6th, 1960 – Watford, England Apollon bt Hawaka (Ray's spelling) Everything else is just the lineup. Seymour Hall date is a new one for me. I will have a dig online, hopefully today.

1960 is interesting. Ray only had a result for him at Watford (he had it spelled "Hawaka"). But the rest of the bills are lineups only. Will have to dig further.

I don't know how it works in the UK, compared to NZ, but here you can have a business name and office and then several trading names. I wondered if Max (or Astaire) kept the older promotional names in use as trading names in the relevant areas. I also have a slightly unrelated question; When DM moved to Nursery Road, did they also close the print shop?

I noticed on the June 1974 Scotland shows, Pallo is on the same bill with Shirley and George Kidd.

Interestingly, Ray has results for Pallo & Son working for the Joint combine up in Scotland in May 1974.
